Gavroche Waldorf Doll
For this doll boy I was inspired by Voctor Hugo‘s novel the Miserables. The boy is called Gavroche. He is more like a collectable art doll than a doll for a child to play with. It could be a nice gift to someone who likes to read books.
The character of Gavroche may have been inspired by a figure in Eugène Delacroix’s painting Liberty Leading the People, which depicts the successful 1830 July Revolution, two years before the events described in the novel.
Clothes and shoes are handmade by me with high-quality natural materials.
Gavroche is 12″/30cm tall and can stand upright.
